Hypothetico is the first software-defined bank holding company and operates as an on-demand, full stack banking-as-a-service software company operated by an OCC-chartered national bank, Formative Bank. Formative provides a chartered banking platform and regulatory blocking to fintech and regtech startups needing to be served by a banking charter and to legacy banks needing to retire charter operations. Formative is fully digital and the only U.S. bank designed to act purely as infrastructure.
